ANDY RUSHBY
Andy has spent the past 25 years operating independently and off-grid in remote environments, both on personal expeditions and while leading clients. Alongside extensive field experience, he brings a degree in Environmental Policy, professional teaching experience, and a background as a Trooper and lead scout in the British Army.
His work has included roles as a Mountain Leader, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, off-site safety manager, and NEBOSH-trained practitioner. He specialises in real-world decision-making, leadership, and rescue scenarios — shaped by repeated exposure to complex, high-pressure situations rather than theoretical exercises.
This combined military, educational, and expedition experience now underpins his work supporting organisations to manage risk well, develop capable leaders, and make sound decisions when it matters most.
